Information for New Campers

ELIGIBILITY

 

• Dogs must be at least 12 weeks old and fully vaccinated to attend Camp.

 

• Dogs older than 7 months old must be spayed or neutered.

 

• Newly adopted dogs should be in their new home for at least 30 days to get comfortable in their new surroundings before attending any day camps.

   

• Dogs attending Camp must have completed the Off-Leash Play Application and passed their Camp Evaluation to prove to Doggo Adventures that they are non-aggressive, friendly with people, and not overly anxious to participate in Camp. ​

• Please remember that when your dog frequents the Camp play areas, they will be in contact with many other types of dogs and the health and safety of all animals is our main priority.  Like at dog parks, acts of aggression can happen very quickly and without warning. If your dog initiates an incident that Doggo Adventures deems unacceptable, Doggo Adventures reserves the right to remove your pet to its own separate area for safety reasons until your arrival.

• Owners are responsible and liable should your pet cause injuries or damages to other animals, people or property.  Doggo Adventures reserves the right to refuse service and permanently expel your pet from our facility without explanation.

 
ALL DOGS MUST ARRIVE AND LEAVE ON LEASHES

Even if your dog does not generally walk on a leash, they can be unpredictable at times, so to ensure everyone remains safe, please walk your dog to and from your car on a leash.
 

It is mandatory that all dogs wear a quick-release collar or play naked during Camps. Dogs tend to use their mouths while playing and a quick-release collar (collar with a clip, not a buckle) ensures your dog is not in distress while playing with another dog at any time. If you do not have one of these, we will provide one.

FOOD

If your dog requires feeding during the day, please bring the food in a container labeled with your dog’s name and feeding instructions. We are also able to administer most medications throughout the day. Please call us for details. In house food can be provided for a fee.
